Thom Browne x Supreme l Oxfords

The US Mens Fashion rockstar known as Thom Browne has teamed up with street wear staple Supreme. Many are confused, excited and saddened by this collaboration. However, looking at the final product, the collaboration looks like a success. So what do you get when you combine the high end, shruken, tailor minded design of Thom Browne and the gritty yet smooth street wear style of Supreme? See for yourself...

I am a big fan of the very slim cut and will be copping the red oxford below. Shirts will be available March 25th both online and in-brick.

Craving l Brooks Brothers Chukka Field Boot

Something straight out of Elvis's kit and hopefully soon onto mine are these ink blue chukka field boot. Very similar to the McNairy chukkas minus the iconic red brick sole. These boots come in a tad cheaper than the McNairy version and are backed by the timeless Brooks Brothers name. I look forward to these being on the other end of my rolled up chinos.

Lake Michigan Summers

One of the best kept secrets in the Midwest is a Michigan summer. Most importantly one spent on the shores of the giant Lake bearing the states name. So many memories were made, dreams dashed and women swooned on those beaches. I look forward to burying my feet in the soft sand, soaking up valuable sun rays, swimming in salt free water and looking stylish while doing it all.

Craving

Wings + Horns chambray parka

Chambray seems to be the material of the year right now, so why not throw it on a parka? With the in between weather in full effect here in the Midwest this jacket will be the perfect remedy for it.

ACL x Gant Rugger

Today has been a good day for mens wear with the launch of the L.L. Bean signature line and the unveiling of the ACL x Gant Rugger. A Continuous Lean and Gant teamed up to create one of the sharpest shirts of the season. The folks at Gant produced a great hugger made from madras, which everyone knows is a great alternative to twill and oxford material. With warm weather just around the corner and small quantity go pick yourself up one for a cool buck twenty five. http://ow.ly/1lbcU

Pros: Color, button down collar

Cons: limited quanity, armpit placement

L.L. Bean Signature Thoughts

My card is swiped and my signature has been signed for some of L.L. Beans Signature pieces. A collection that has been a long time coming for almost any fan of the New England company. With a near cult like following with their "Bean Boots" it should be no surprise the hype surrounding the line. Like my fellow Bean aficionado Mr. Sartorially Inclined said "Believe the hype."

What I purchsed...

Ranger Moc

I love the functionality of this shoe. The boot puts a modern streamline on the classic. Will be wearing these with the corduroy shorts below as well as denim this spring and summer.

Corduroy Short

These shorts are perfect! Love the length and the thin cut. The flap pocket with gold snap puts a perfect punctuation to a great short.

Leather Field Belt

I can never have to many belts and the sophisticated hunter feel of this belt is to much to pass up. The shiny gold accents common throughout the line are carried over to the belt with a duck statement accent. This will hold up my corduroy shorts and other bottoms with style.
